Assessed Property values down slightly in 2006
Assessed property values in Whistler and Pemberton and down slightly in 2006. There was a 4 per cent decline in residential properties in Whistler. In Pemberton there was a 8.95 per cent decline in single-family homes.
In Vancouver and the North Shore assessments were up 10 to 30 per cent.
In Squamish assessed values increased by 5 to 10 per cent.
The largest declines in Whistler were two-bedroom apartments (from $620,000 last year to $594,000 this year) in the Village and single family homes in Creekside (from $921,000 last year to $882,500 this year).
